An open and safe discussion moderated by Dr. Dorothy Espelage, the internationally renowned expert – and frequent guest on "Oprah" – in the studies of bullying and hazing.Dorothy Espelage is a Professor of Counseling Psychology at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Espelage is a leading
researcher in the studies of bullying and hazing. Her scholarship at UIUC has included investigationsof several health related behaviors, including bullying and youth aggression during early adolescence. Dr. Espelage's 12 year track record on the study of bullying is widely recognized (more than 30 professional publications and a co-edited book entitled Bullying in American Schools). Dr. Espelage has appeared numerous times on the nationally-syndicated Oprah Winfrey show as a spokesperson for bullying prevention, and has presented over 200 training and professional development sessions on the prevention of bullying and other forms of violence.
