"It's as if you came into our classroom and took a picture of each kid and figured out what they needed…Kids were crying on the bus because they didn't want to leave…This was probably the best field trip I've ever been on with this class."

Child being held up"I am a mother of a son diagnosed with autism who attended your Red Kite performance at the Chicago Children's Museum over the weekend. I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful job you are doing and tell you how much your performance meant to my son...We live in Kansas City so we had to fly to Chicago for the weekend but it was well worth the trip. You all do an amazing thing for these special children and Asa is still talking about the show. Being a mother of a child with autism is difficult, challenging, tiring, while at the same time it makes you kinder, gentler, and always strive to be better. I have sat through and been involved in countless hours of therapy since my son was a baby so I can't describe the feeling I had as a parent watching my son participate in a show put on especially for him that not only could he understand but incorporated everything he enjoys, knows, and can talk about after words. It was truly incredible. Thank you again for all of your hard work, dedication, time, energy, and love you put into this every time you do it. The children and parents appreciate it so much."
