With just about two weeks to go until "The Hundred Dresses" opens and kicks off National Bullying Prevention Month, our production crew has been hard at work designing and building the world of Boggins Heights and Franklin Elementary School. Over at The Royal George Theatre, our production manager, Matt Marsden, snapped some photos to give us a sneak peek at how the set is progressing.
Since the play takes place both inside the classroom and around Boggins Heights, the set designers knew they needed a versatile set. Here's the initial plan they drew up:

The set designers also knew they wanted lots of color and detail. Notice how they've incorporated notebook paper into some of the backdrops both here and in the model pictures above.

And after all of that preliminary work, the set is finally coming to life! Here's a picture of how the classroom-building is progressing. Thanks to the crew for testing out the chairs!

Things are looking pretty great, and rumor has it that rehearsals are sounding and feeling pretty great too! Thanks again to the production crew and Matt Marsden for all their help, and we hope to see all you soon for "The Hundred Dresses!"

I wouldn't comment on posts but I felt that I had to as your writing style is really good. You have broken down a difficult area so that it easy to understand. I think that you would enjoy reading what another good blogger has to say on the subject.
