The production of The Selfish Giant could not have been more charming. I felt like I went back in time to witness a travelling show. The set was minimal and beautiful, the pace placid and completely appropriate for children. My daughter and I were both charmed!

Witty, playful, unexpected and oh so imaginative. My son and I enjoyed the whole experience immensely! The music was wonderful and the closeness of the talent and relaxed atmosphere made it.

My five-year-old son wants to see it again! It was truly a sensory delight with enough music, humor, emotion and visual intrigue to keep any child in the moment.

Absolutely magical, this is the type of show that expands a child’s imagination at any age. My wife and I enjoyed it as well.

My son truely enjoyed the show, he couldn't stop talking about it when we got home. I thought it was well done and very down to earth show that any age could appreciate.

With puppets flying over our heads, a giant looming above us, and toe-tapping songs we all enjoyed the show. A calm pace filled with imagination made for a wonderful hour for all three of my three children, ages 9, 6 and 3.

This magical afternoon was a birthday celebration for my grandaughter who turned 5. Danielle loved the presentation! Her favorite part was the snow. You would have thought she'd seen enough of that this year! I enjoyed the creativity and imagination games encouraged by this production.

This was an absolutely magical performance. Michael Smith\\\'s music was whimsical for children and adults alike. (We hope to hear there is a CD available!) Josh was an incredible puppeteer both during the show and after when he allowed the children to come and see and touch their favorite characters and ask many, many questions which were answered simply and patiently. The Selfish Giant is an imaginative play that teaches a very important lesson in how all things are connected and needed to make things beautiful for all to enjoy.

The Selfish Giant is a wonderful production for both the child and the child at heart. The performers consist of two, Blair Thomas and Michael Smith, both masters of their trades. The intimacy of the production invites some playful improvisation that works well and don’t be surprised when the audience is made to be part of the set. Its whimsical artistry sucks you in and the emotion and humor holds you, so much in fact, that you don’t want it to end. The story is what you make of it. For some it might be lighthearted and playful but those who look a little deeper may realize that someone in their own life is or was once \'Selfish Giant\'. By the end of the performance, I had compiled a list of people in my life that could learn a little something from its message, including myself.

Michael's original music and unique voice, Joshua's command of his puppets, both performers' sensitivity and timing of emotions cannot be matched. This production for children and adults touched upon every human emotion and communicated a powerful message all people need to witness. For 55 minutes, my three year old grandson's attention and eyes said it all- thank you!!

Wow...what a warm and engaging show. It was a unique approach to storytelling that delighted my children. The different types of puppets were creatively blended into the story. The music was fun, relaxing and told of what we dream for life.

I liked the little giant and the big one. And I liked the little castle the little giant was in. I liked Winter when he dropped the snow on some kids. The umbrella with the little bees on it looked pretty. I learned that you should not be mean or selfish because that's not nice to other people. Spring, Summer and Fall were nice. Winter was also nice, but he wanted to stay all year round, and there wouldn't be any Valentine's Day or St. Patrick's Day. It was kind of weird when the kids got through the wall because there was a little door, but walls don't have doors. I also liked the little bird who went, 'Tweet, Tweet, Tweet.' I hope none of the puppets got broken for the next play.
